Timberstone Landscape design-build process — Grayson, GA
Design & Build · Timberstone Landscape

From Concept
to Completion

We don't just build what you describe — we design what you're imagining. 3D mockups, material selections, and a build sequence that keeps your project on track from day one.

The Timberstone Process

Most Contractors Quote. We Design.

The difference between a project that ends exactly as imagined and one that ends with compromise and surprises usually comes down to a single question: did you see it before it was built? Timberstone Landscape uses 3D design and detailed material mockups so you know exactly what you're getting — before a single stone is placed.

A rendering isn't a luxury add-on. It's the only way to have an honest conversation about what you're building before you're committed to the cost of changing it.

01 Step 01

Site Assessment & Discovery

We visit the property, measure the space, assess drainage, identify grade changes, note existing structures and utilities. The site shapes the design — we don't impose a design on the site. Every decision that follows starts here.

02 Step 02

Concept Design & 3D Mockup

Using CAD and 3D visualization software, we produce a rendered view of the proposed hardscape. You see the paver pattern, the wall heights, the kitchen layout — in context with your actual property. Material selections are shown in the render.

03 Step 03

Material Selection & Specification

Once the design is approved, we specify every material — paver manufacturer and SKU, wall block system, coping profile, sand type, edge restraint spec. Nothing ambiguous in the proposal.

As a Techo-Bloc Preferred Contractor, we have full access to Techo-Bloc's architectural paver and wall system line — including materials not available at standard retail.

Build Sequence & Project Timeline

We build in sequence — site prep and excavation first, drainage infrastructure second, base layers third, surface material last. You receive a written project timeline before work begins. Every phase has a clear start and completion benchmark.

Final Walkthrough & Completion

Every project ends with a final walkthrough — we walk the completed installation with you, demonstrate drainage, explain care and maintenance, and address anything that isn't exactly right before we consider the job complete.

  • Drainage Demonstration
  • Maintenance Guidance

Why the Design-Build Model
Produces Better Projects

Design-Build
Timberstone Landscape
  • You see it before you build it — 3D render of your actual property.
  • Material spec is locked and approved before construction begins.
  • One point of contact from design through final walkthrough.
  • No surprises. What was agreed is what gets built.
Bid-Build
Standard Contractor
  • Quote based on a verbal description — no visual reference.
  • Materials may be substituted during the build without approval.
  • Multiple vendors to coordinate across design, supply, and labor.
  • Scope changes cost extra — often significantly.
